Tier 1 Customer Support Specialist

SUMMARY: T1 Support Specialists provide support for our hosted software applications while providing callers with a superior customer service experience. Our ideal T1 candidate is a creative and self-motivated support technician with at least 2 years of recent software support background, and a versatile computer skill-set. Problem-solving in different software, systems and networking environments is highly desirable and will be given preference for consideration. Attention to detail, troubleshooting and effective communication are also critical.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handling incoming customer support by phone, and email using ticket tracking systems.
• Guiding customers to understand software while diagnosing technical software issues.
• Ticket tracking, researching and resolving technical issues.
• Communicating with the team, supervisors, and internal business partners.
• Participating in software training and development activities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
• 2+ years of experience in customer support, technical support, sales, or retail experience.
• Must be both patient and courteous
• Prior Technical Support and/or Customer Service experience.
• Experience with computer software troubleshooting .
• Open minded and willing to learn and adapt to new procedures.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Special consideration will be given for the following experience:
• Enterprise ticketing system experience.
• Inbound/Outbound call experience.
• Insurance Industry Experience.
