Software Sales Representative

SUMMARY: We are growing our sales team! This role, within the insurance agency software industry, will be focused on prospecting new accounts, pursuing aged leads, and expanding current customer utilization of RacingSnail products and services.  
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include but are not limited to:
  • Proactively develop new customer contacts (i.e. cold calls), review warm leads and increase revenue within current accounts to hit KPIs
  • Cross-sell current clients to increase per-client revenue
  • Conduct phone, web, and in-person sales presentations
  • Give group sales presentations
  • Generate sales leads from trade show booths and other events
  • Solicit group presentations to groups of agents and agency managers
  • Qualify customer capability, needs, expectations and requirements to accurately establish a good client/provider match
  • Provide customers with the highest standard of customer service through follow-up contact and consultation after the sale to protect and grow market share in assigned vertical
  • Maintain cooperative working relationship with all necessary departments to ensure sales are generated and processed efficiently to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Respond to requests from prospective clients for information
  • Develop product expertise in RacingSnail software suite and competitive products
  • Maintain databases (Contact Management System, Access)
  • Assist clients in arranging payment terms per established guidelines
  • Provide historical records by maintaining notes on client sales
  • Ensure sales are completed without errors and omissions
  • Provide advisory support and assistance to the department supervisor as needed
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ Year(s) of B2B sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical & analytical skills
  • Demonstrated, effective negotiation and closing techniques
  • Ability to sense and relate observations to business opportunity
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to self-direct
  • Insurance experience preferred, but not required
  • Travel Requirement: Domestic travel 1-2 times per month required
